Summary
This study investigates different project close-out processes used by various mechanical and sheet metal companies in the industry.
“Project closing” are the processes performed to formally complete the project, phase, or contractual obligations. Project closeout is usually the final stage of the project, where the project team demobilizes, the project documents archived, the punch list items completed, and the project handed over to the client.
In the construction industry, this has been a challenge, as the
close-out process typically tends to linger on way past
project completion.
