The New Horizons Foundation has issued a new project study, Pandemics and Productivity: Quantifying the Impact, that addresses the productivity impact COVID-19 has had across the sheet metal, HVAC and mechanical industry.
This webcast breaks down the report in easy-to-understand pieces and explain how contractors can use the findings to:
- Quantifying the impacts for the purpose of seeking equitable compensation for lost productivity
- Adequately price upcoming work that will take place under pandemic-driven work rules and conditions
- Properly formulate financial projections that take into account stress on cash flow due to both decreases in productivity and the associated increases in overhead costs
The webcast also introduced a new change order calculator tool to assist members in determining the impact amounts.
